WARSAW — On Thursday, Jan. 17, Warsaw Community High School and the Warsaw Area Career Center will hold the annual WCHS/WACC Academic Showcase from 5 to 8 p.m. Parents and students can enter through the Main Office (Door 1) or the Performing Arts Center rotunda at 5 p.m.

This event is meant for current WCHS students and their parents, as well as all incoming freshmen and their parents. The showcase is a great chance to come tour the building and see all the wonderful opportunities that are available to students at WCHS and in the WACC.

Every department throughout the school will be showcasing their talented teachers and previewing their available classes and curriculum. There will be fun and interactive activities, as well as informational flyers that could help students and families decide what courses they should take at WCHS.

To the parents of incoming freshmen (current eighth graders), there will be two opportunities to attend the informative meeting in the Performing Arts Center. The first Class of 2023 meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m., and the second will be held at 6:30 p.m. The meetings contain the same information, and parents of incoming freshmen are encouraged to attend one of the meetings either before or after touring the showcase. These meetings will be held in the auditorium of the Performing Arts Center.
