Barbara K. Richards, 73, Cromwell, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on April 24, 1945, in Canton, Ohio, to the late Edward and Winona (Brinkley) Cunningham. She married Larry Richards on January 11, 1984 in Billings, Mont.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Richards of Cromwell; daughters, Shelley (Jay) Johnson of North Webster; and Becky (Timothy) Akins of Kissimmee, Fla.; sons, Dale Marts of Bridgeport, W. Va.; and Joseph Marts of Fayetteville, W. Va.; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Carolyn (Joseph) Simler of Sugar Creek, Ohio; niece, Carrie (Mike) Clark of Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Family and friends will be received from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767. A graveside service will take place on Thursday, Jan. 10, at Sunset Hill Burial Park, 5001 Everhard Rd NW, Canton, OH 44718 at 1 pm.

She worked in hotel management for 20 years and at Guardian Industries & Glass for 14 years. She enjoyed off road four wheeling with Magic City Four Wheelers in Billings, Mont. and playing with her dogs. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
