Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

3:12 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, North Fox Farm Road, north of North Sellers Drive, Warsaw. Driver: John E. Mattson, 30, South Mallard Road, Mentone. Mattson was traveling north on Fox Farm Road when his vehicle left the roadway, rolling over several times and landing on the passenger side. Mattson sustained a small laceration on his left thumb. Damage up to $10,000.

12:13 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, East CR 600S, west of South CR 100E, Claypool. Driver: Seth J. Eiler, 24, West North Street, Claypool. Eiler was traveling west on CR 600S when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.

10:12 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 1504 N. CR 300E, Warsaw. Drivers: Joseph C. Dials, 17, South Oak Street, Warsaw; and Garrett G. Young, 18, South CR 350E, Warsaw. Dials was backing his vehicle when he struck Young’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

4:01 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, South SR 13, near East CR 1200S, North Manchester. Driver: John F. Monik, 70, East Hatchery Road 15, Syracuse. Monik was traveling south on SR 13 when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.

9:16 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, North SR 15, north of West Plum Street, Leesburg. Driver: Hunter K. Lehman, 16, La Vista Drive, Warsaw. Lehman was traveling north on SR 15 when he lost control of his vehicle. Lehman’s vehicle left the roadway, striking a highway sign. Damage up to $5,000.

8:44 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, North SR 19, north of West CR 75N, Etna Green. Driver: David J. Lee, 49, West SR 14, Silver Lake. Lee’s vehicle hit a patch of ice and left the roadway, traveling into a ditch and rolling over. Damage up to $10,000.

11:38 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, North Warsaw Oswego Road, south of East Rader Road, Leesburg. Driver: Larry L. Dennis, 48, North Venetian Drive, Syracuse. Dennis was traveling west on Rader Road when he attempted to make the curve onto Warsaw Oswego Road. Dennis’ vehicle overcorrected, causing his vehicle to leave the roadway. His vehicle then traveled through a crop field before becoming airborne and coming to rest in a drainage ditch. Dennis and a passenger in his vehicle, Jeremy S. Olmstead, 44, Milford, were transported by EMS to Lutheran Fort Wayne for treatment. Damage up to $25,000.

11:45 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, North First Street, north of East Wayne Street, Pierceton. Drivers: Blake E. Rodgers, 22, South CR 600E, Pierceton; and Todd C. Custer, 44, East CR 1400N, North Manchester. Rodgers was traveling north on SR 13 when he rear-ended Custer’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

6:34 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, South County Farm Road, near West Hoppus Road, Warsaw. Driver: John J. Sisco, 18, West Lukens Lake Road, Laketon. Sisco was traveling north on County Farm Road when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $2,500.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

9:08 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, US 30, west of Parker Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Lujack Prater, 27, North Freedom Street, Ravenna, OH; and Amanda Jones, 29, North Mill Street, North Manchester. Prater was traveling west on US 30 in the left lane behind Jones’ vehicle when a rear-end collision occurred. Jones said she has an existing medical condition and that she would go to the hospital to be checked out for neck pain aggravated by the accident. Damage up to $10,000.

5:57 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, North SR 15, near Jalynn Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Amber L. Coker, 34, North High Street, Silver Lake; and Jeffrey A. Feldman, 50, West CR 800S, Claypool. Coker was traveling east on on Jalynn Street when he rear-ended Feldman’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

10:05 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, US 30, east of SR 15, Warsaw. Driver: Jose Rodriguez, 26, Firestone Lane Apartment D., Valparaiso. Rodriguez was traveling east on US 30 when he lost control of his vehicle, striking a guardrail. Rodriguez complained of shoulder pain and EMS medically evaluated him at the scene. Damage up to $5,000.

9:06 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, Lake City Highway, east of SR 15, Warsaw. Driver: Joshua Q. Chorba, 21, Westwind Drive, Valparaiso. Chorba was traveling east on Lake City Highway when his vehicle lost traction on the roadway, striking a concrete bridge rail. Damage up to $2,500.

8:43 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, East US 30, near North SR 15, Warsaw. Driver: Zackary W. Hodges, 25, South 7th Street, Goshen. Hodges was merging onto the eastbound lanes of US 30 when he lost control of his vehicle, striking a guardrail fence. Damage up to $2,500.

7:35 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, US Highway 30, east of North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Driver: Diane Higgins, 63, West CR 225N, Etna Green. Higgins was traveling east on US Highway 30 when she lost control of her vehicle and slid into the median, where Higgins’ vehicle struck a guardrail. Damage up to $10,000.

6:13 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, Anchorage Road, near US 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Corey D. Veach, 36, North Henry Street, Milford; and Jeffrey M. Steele, 59, East Clay Street, Bourbon. Veach was traveling east on Anchorage Road behind Steele’s vehicle when both vehicles came to a stop at a red light. Veach said Steele’s vehicle had begun to enter the instruction when he rear-ended Steele’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.

5:14 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, East Winona Avenue, north of South Buffalo Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Adrian Saloma, 15, East CR 200N 188, Warsaw; and Timothy M. Grevenstuk, 38, North Oak Street 7, Pierceton. Saloma was traveling west on East Winona Avenue when he proceeded to turn left at an intersection, stating he believed he had the right of way. Saloma’s vehicle turned in front of Grevenstuk’s, causing a collision. Saloma’s vehicle drove off the roadway and into the grass, striking a light pole. Damage up to $10,000.
