Helen Lucille Galloway, 90, Kimmell, passed away at 10:05 p.m., Dec. 25, 2018. She was born on April 12, 1928, the daughter of Charles A. and Mary Etta (Speaker) Amick. She married Earl Galloway Sept. 16, 1972; he preceded her in death on April 6, 2010.

She is survived by two children, Ronnie (Robin) Galloway of Cromwell, and Cindy (Daniel) Chalfant of Huntertown; two step-children, Harold Galloway of North Webster, and Carroll (Linda) Galloway of Ligonier; 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and five sisters.

Helen was a very hard worker throughout her life. She worked at Essex in Ligonier and later retired from Dana in Churubusco. Helen loved to garden and grow flowers.

A funeral service will be held in Helen’s honor at 11 a.m., Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South; Ligonier, IN 46767 on Saturday Dec. 29. Celebrant Larry Baker will officiate. Burial will follow at Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell.

Family and friends will be received from 4-7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 28, at Yeager Funeral Home.
