WARSAW — Warsaw Municipal Airport Manager Nick King opened two quotes for roof replacement work Friday, Dec. 14.

Roofing work is planned for the airport’s terminal building. The roof is to be replaced with a tapered flat roof of similar construction. The mansards of the terminal building are also planned to be replaced with a steel roof product.

The roof is in need of replacement due to water and wind damage.

King opened a quote from Centermark Company, which estimated the work on the observation room roof at $45,480 and the mansards at $18,599, totaling the project at $64,079. The second quote opened was from Royalty Roofing, which estimated the entire project at $39,538.

Both quotes are under advisement until the Board of Aviation Commissioners meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019.
