WARSAW — The Kosciusko Human Resource Association announced donations to two area nonprofits benefitting children and their families in Kosciusko County.

The $500 donations were presented to CASA of Kosciusko County and Kosciusko County Riley Kids Fund held at the Kosciusko County Community Foundation. The donations were presented by Kosciusko Human Resource Association President Abbey Ambrose and Vice-President Cheryl Shepherd.

“Each organization expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the donation,” said Ambrose.

“KHRA is proud to support these worthwhile organizations that make such a big impact in our community,” said Shepherd.

The Kosciusko County Riley Kids Fund was established at the Kosciusko County Community Foundation by business partners Alan Alderfer and Mike Bergen and funded by many generous community donors to provide support to Riley Children’s Hospital and financial assistance to Kosciusko County families with a child receiving medical treatment from Riley.

CASA of Kosciusko County is a non-profit organization which advocates for the best interest of abused and neglected children who are entangled in the Kosciusko County court system by recruiting, training and supporting volunteers to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates.
