WARSAW — The 25th annual Toy Time consignment sale is going on now. There’s still time to consign or donate your quality, gently used toys, if you bring them to the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds between before 9 p.m. Today, Dec. 13. Proceeds from the Toy Time sale will benefit the Combined Community Services’ Toy Give Away project.

The public toy sale will be held at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16.

“We are very grateful to the Kosciusko Fairgrounds for donating this building to us for 25 years,” said Ami Pitt, who organizes the event. “We are also grateful to Meijer, who donates the supplies we use to tag and bag everything. Also Toys for Tots and ABATE, who bring us things for the giveaway. This helps us cover the 1,300 kids we normally cover every year, along with the proceeds we make from the sale.”

“This weekend we’re having an awesome sale. We have well over 10,000 toys at this point,” Pitt said. “We have 1,300 to 1,400 kids to get Christmas for, so any help is greatly appreciated.”

If you find yourself in need of Christmas assistance this year, the toy giveaway will be held at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19.

Donations of bibles are also greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, please call Pitt at (574) 265-4179.

Proceeds from the Toy Time sale will benefit the Combined Community Services’ Toy Give Away project.
