Geraline ‘Jeri’ Furry

Geraline “Jeri” Furry, 80, Warsaw, passed away at 5:20 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018, at Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw.

She was born on March 14, 1938, in Crocket, Ky. to Virgie (White) Mills and Ike Mills. On Feb. 2, 1957, she was married to Peter Allen Furry, who survives.

She was a resident of Kosciusko County, for the past 42 years. She was a homemaker, loved nature and animals, but her real joy was loving her family and grandchildren.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 61 years, Peter Allen Furry, Warsaw; son: Curtiss Furry, Warsaw; two grandchildren: Cole Furry, Warsaw; Adam (Kassidy) Furry, El Paso, Texas; one granddaughter: Lauryn Furry; brother: Tunis Browning, Bolingbrook, Ill.; and her two sisters: Virginia Moore, Columbus, Ohio; Rhonda (Wayne) Hughes, Columbus, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

Visitation will be held 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Monday, Dec. 17, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw. Her funeral service will follow immediately at 1 p.m. and officiated by Pastor Dennis L. Bollenbacher. A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
