WARSAW — Walt Church, appointed to the Kosciusko County Board of Zoning Appeals in 1993 by the county commissioners, retired after 25 years of service. The Tuesday, Dec. 11, meeting of the BZA was his last meeting.

“He has diligently served on the board for the past 25 years,” said Dan Richard, area planning director. “During that time Walt has participated in over 8,000 hearings involving variances, exceptions and ordinance interpretations.”

Church was presented a retirement plaque at the Dec. 11 meeting.
