Kosciusko

Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:

  • 6:10 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, 9600 block of South CR 750W, Claypool. Police took a report from Victor Short who reported his shed locks were cut and a weed eater was stolen. Value: $175.
  • 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 1400 block of North Fox Farm Road, Warsaw. Police responded to the Michelle Jackson residence to investigate a criminal mischief. A picture window was shot with a ball bearing. Damage: $400.
  • 3:35 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 11100 block of South CR 100S, Silver Lake. Police responded to the Teresa Martin residence to investigate a phone scam.
  • 9:57 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 3800 block of East CR 1000S, Pierceton. Police responded to the Timothy R. Newton residence to investigate a burglary. Taken was cash and a firearm. Value: $14,600.
  • 8:17 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 8300 block of East CR 1250N, Syracuse. Police responded to the Kari Tinsley residence to investigate a possible theft. Taken were an oak headboard, Christmas decorations, bunk bed hardware, a utility dolly and end tables. Value: $925.
  • 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, 5400 block of West CR 1350N, Nappanee. Police responded to the Carlyle Lehman residence to investigate the theft of a flatbed trailer. Value: $4,000.
  • 4:07 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 4700 block of South Country Club Road, Warsaw. Police responded to the Benjamin McKrill residence to investigate a burglary of an outbuilding and the theft of numerous tools.

Warsaw

Officers from the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incident:

  • 4:45 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 3800 block of Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Police responded to the Kayleigh Daily residence to investigate a theft of a wallet from a vehicle. Taken was a brown woman’s wallet with $2 in cash. Value: $32.
