Betty Ann Stroud, 59, Rochester, passed away at 5:52 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018, at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester.

She was born on May 24, 1959, in Rochester, the daughter of Butch Bilby and Donna K. (Perkins) Bilby Rans. On Dec. 24, 1990, in Rochester, she married Thomas Stroud and he survives.

She had worked as a respiratory therapist at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester and was a devout member of the Old Crossroads Baptist Church, Gilead. In her spare time she enjoyed her rabbits, gardening, bowling, cooking, and camping, but most of all she cherished the time spent with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Stroud, Rochester; children, Micheal (Dawn) Trigg, Macy; Jason Trigg, Rochester; step-children: Sandra Stroud, Osgood; Tracy Stroud, Dallas, Texas; Christian Stroud, Dillsboro; Patrick Stroud, Vevay; Mathew (Shannon) Stroud, Moores Hill; twenty four grandchildren, one great grandchild, brothers and sisters, several nieces and nephews who lovingly called her “Aunt Ducky”.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Danny Rans and step-son, Chris Trigg.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, with Pastor Thad Stewart officiating. Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to service on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Fulton Cemetery, Fulton, Indiana.
