Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

7:38 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, SR 15, north of West CR 200S, Warsaw. Drivers: Zachary R. Woodward, 34, South Rogers Street, Bloomington; and Donaven C. Ruff, 22, Briar Ridge Circle, Warsaw. Woodward was driving northbound on SR 15, approaching the traffic signal at CR 200S when the signal turned red. Woodward attempted to stop prior to the intersection; however, he was pulling a car dolly with another vehicle on  it. As Woodward tried to slow down, the towed dolly began to skid. Woodward’s vehicle was pushed to the right, with the towed vehicle and dolly becoming jack-knifed. Woodward’s vehicle continued through the intersection, striking Ruff’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000. 

Mentone

Officers with the Mentone Police Department investigated the following accident:

11:15 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, SR 25, east of Morgan Street, Mentone. Drivers: Larry E. Eakins, 54, South CR 900E, Akron; and Barry N. Blue, 64, South CR 700W, Silver Lake. Eakins’ vehicle struck Blue’s vehicle when Eakins was backing out of a parking space. Damage up to $5,000.
