Bonnie S. Peck, 76, Syracuse, passed away at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 3, 2018, at Avalon Village Nursing Home in Ligonier. She was born on Oct. 9, 1942, in Ligonier, to Robert and Kathryn (Keasey) Gunder.

She attended Ligonier High School and was a lifetime Ligonier and Syracuse area resident. She was formerly employed at Monsanto in Ligonier and Cromwell Products. She also was a waitress, bartender, and cook for Smitty’s Bar & Anchor Bar both in Syracuse.

She formerly attended the United Brethren Church in Ligonier.

She is survived by two daughters: Stephanie Schmuck, Friday Harbor, Wash.; Sandra (Mark) Mignery, Cromwell; son, Stephen Schmuck, Friday Harbor, Wash; five grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Gunder, Syracuse; brother, Steve Iden, North Webster.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Walter Schmuck, great granddaughter, Samantha Muchowicz, and brother – Edward Gunder.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. No public services will be held. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse is in charge of arrangements.
