Hilda E. ‘Liz’ Mann — UPDATED

Hilda E. “Liz” Mann, 91, Winona Lake, passed away at 10:10 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018, in Kosciusko Community Hospital.  She was born on Dec. 21, 1926, in Clayton, Wisc. to Jacob O. and Clara (Steiner) Weiss.

On March 31, 1951, she was united in marriage to Herb E. Mann in Michigan. She attended Michigan State University and studied Home Economics. She moved to Warsaw in 1958. During her life she taught cooking classes at Cardinal Center for ten years, she also owned Here Comes the Bride Wedding Service in Warsaw. She was a member of the Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church and was also a member of the Church Circle Women’s Club. She enjoyed sewing and baking for the residents and staff of Grace Village. Most of all she loved her family and friends dearly.

She is survived by her husband, Herb E. Mann of Warsaw; daughters: Mary (Daniel) Wallen of Winona Lake; Susan Mann of North Fort Myers, Fla.; Ruth Mann of Warsaw; Nancy (Sam) Hartle of Warsaw; son, William I. Mann of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren also survives.  She was preceded in death by four sisters, one brother, and one grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m., Monday, Dec. 3, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.  Dr. Erik Ohman will officiate the Funeral Service. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
