Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

10:09 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, North SR 15 and West CR 1350N, Milford. Drivers: Nancy L. Nelson, 73, North CR 450E, Syracuse; and Karen A. Ellerman, 56, Manitoba Drive, Lafayette. Nelson advised she was traveling east on CR 1350N. She stated she stopped at a stop sign but did not see any traffic coming. She attempted to cross SR 15, but her vehicle collided with Ellerman’s vehicle. Damage up to $25,000. 

8:42 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, South County Farm Road, north of East CR 400S, Warsaw. Drivers: Stacy A. Denton, 31, 12th Road, Plymouth; and Anita L. Kline, 33, Packerton Road, Claypool. Kline stated she was northbound on County Farm Road and observed that Denton did not stop at the stop sign. The vehicles collided at the intersection. Both drivers were taken to the hospital by ambulance. Denton had minor bleeding to the head. Kline complained of neck pain. Damage up to $50,000.  

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

12:04 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, West Market Street and North Washington Street, Warsaw. Driver: Steven E. Harvey, 63, Eisenhower Street, Mentone. Harvey said his vehicle was struck by another vehicle at the intersection. The driver of the other vehicle did not stop. A witness verified that the driver of the other vehicle pulled out in front of Harvey’s vehicle, resulting in a collision. Damage up to $2,500. 

3:03 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, Tiger Lane, Warsaw. Driver: Teresa A. Croussore, 51, West Point Drive, Warsaw. Croussore stated she was picking her daughter up at the Warsaw High School and was driving in the parent pick-up lane. She advised that her daughter opened the right rear passenger door in an attempt to get into the vehicle. Croussore said she thought her daughter was inside the vehicle and started to drive away. She then realized that her daughter had fallen out of the vehicle so she stopped. After walking over to help her daughter up off the ground, Croussore said she realized she had driven over her daughter’s foot. Croussore stated her son was arguing with her on the phone at the time, which had distracted her. Croussore drove her daughter, Savannah Croussore, 14, West Point Drive, Warsaw, to the Kosciusko Community Hospital. Damage up to $750.
