Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:

  • 10:38 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, 8400 block West CR 900S, Akron. Officers responded to a report of pigs running loose. The caller advised that this is an ongoing problem.
  • 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 6700 block North CR 500E, Syracuse. Donald E. Black reported the attempted theft of a vehicle.
  • 10:26 a.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 1500 block South Ferguson Road, Warsaw. Ronald D. Collins reported a missing license plate.
  • 8:29 a.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 11200 block West CR 1000S, Akron. Matthew M. Smith and Matthew P. Rakoczy reported theft. Someone broke into their new home that they are in the process of building. Items stolen include a chop saw, air compressor, hot water heater, television, and a dining table set. Value: $2,925.

 

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:

  • 5:53 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 1100 block Husky Trail, Warsaw. Martin’s Supermarket reported theft. Value: $27.98.
  • 4:16 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2200 block East Center St., Warsaw. Officers responded to a report of domestic battery.
  • 3:43 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2500 block Walton Blvd., Warsaw. Walmart reported theft. Value: $222.65.
  • 3:08 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 900 block Anchorage Road, Warsaw. Alejandro S. Santa Maria reported burglary. Items stolen include a smart TV, an audio system, and an air compressor. Value: $1,647.
  • 2:36 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 3600 block Commerce Drive, Warsaw. Big R reported theft. Value: $77.97.
  • 11:47 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 300 block West Main St., Warsaw. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious incident. This is under investigation.

 

Winona Lake

Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following incidents:

  • 10:10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 200 block 14 St., Winona Lake. Officers responded to a report of battery.
  • 4:57 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 200 block 14th St. and Poplar Street, Winona Lake. Elsie F. Hoppas reported a hit and run vehicle accident.
