WARSAW — Seventy-two cases of food staples were donated Monday, Nov. 19, to Our Father’s House, at their new location, 2112 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw. This was a community service project for S.A.L. Squadron 49, and funded in part by McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, prior to the opening of the new dining room at Our Father’s House. The dining room will be open to the public, beginning Dec. 1, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday of each week free of charge.

“Our Father’s House began operations in 1997, with a mission to serve local people in need, with the dining room opening in 2000. We serve approximately 100 meals per day in the dining room and approximately 40 families per day in our food pantry, located in the new Winona Avenue thrift store. In addition, we offer catering services for many events. We may be contacted at (574) 268-1800,” said Volunteer Director Roz Morgan.
