Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
8:03 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, East Syracuse Street, east of North Shaffer Street, Milford. Drivers: Kaira K. Hackworth, 21, Alexis Drive, Milford; and Kristine N. Ellison, 33, Jeremy Drive, Milford. The vehicles collided at the intersection. Damage up to $10,000.
4:51 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, East CR 1300N, east of North CR 250E, Syracuse. Driver: Aaron W. Lindsey, 37, West Sycamore Street, Silver Lake. Lindsey was traveling west on East CR 1300N when his vehicle went off the south side of the road for an unknown reason, striking a utility pole. Lindsey complained of chest pain but refused EMS. Damage up to $25,000.
12:15 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, East Pickwick Road, east of East Searfoss Drive, Syracuse. Driver: James J. Miller, 49, Turtle Bay Drive, Syracuse. Miller was driving east on Pickwick Drive when his vehicle left the north side of the roadway. His vehicle struck a fence belonging to the Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation, traveled through a yard, then crossed Pickwick Road. The vehicle then struck three mailboxes belonging to Ryan Smith, Ronald Graber and Margo Searfoss. The vehicle came to rest against a tree belonging to Ryan Smith. Miller was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital for medical attention. Damage up to $10,000.
9:13 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, North SR 15, north of West CR 800N, Milford. Driver: Sarah M. Herring, 29, Kincaide Street, Warsaw. Herring was driving south on SR 15 when her vehicle struck a tire that was in the road. Damage up to $2,500.
3:47 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, West CR 1350N, west of North CR 60W, Milford. Driver: Samantha Rogers, 23, East Market Street, Warsaw. Rogers was traveling eastbound on CR 1350N when the vehicle left the north side of the road, striking a NIPSCO utility pole. Rogers stated she thought the left rear tire blew out, causing her to lose control of the vehicle. Rogers was not the owner of the vehicle. Police spoke with the vehicle owner and discovered the vehicle is not insured. Damage up to $25,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
11:28 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, East Center Street and South High Street, Warsaw. Driver: Nidhi Choudhary, 27, Heron Boulevard, Warsaw. Choudhary advised her vehicle slid into a parked vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
