WARSAW — One person was injured in a moped accident on SR 15, near Tecomet in Warsaw.

At approximately midnight Sunday, Nov. 18, Plain Township Fire Department and Leesburg EMS responded to a report of a moped accident in the area of 3813 N. SR 15, Warsaw.

Dispatch advised the operator of the moped, identified as a male, had blood coming out of his ears. The moped driver was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, but it came off upon collision.

The male was transported by ambulance form the scene.

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department and Warsaw Police Department also responded to the accident.
