EARLIER:
An abused dog found in a Central Indiana city is showing improvement.
A male dog was found wandering down the road neat 900 North and 400 West in Shelby County. The dog was found with apparent severe chemical burns. He didn’t have tags or a microchip.
The Veterinarian treating the dog named Justice said he has made a little improvement in both his glucose and hydration levels. The vet also says Justice has eaten a little.
Vets were able to check his mouth and he has lacerations on his tongue, possibly from licking off the chemical. Animal Control is looking for whoever injured the dog.
