LAKEVIEW 8TH GRADE 1-1 AT VALPO TOURNEY

Game one of Lakeview’s boys basketball season was a 49-28 loss to Ben Franklin Middle School. Lakeview would come back and beat Chesterton 23-20 in the consolation game of the Valparaiso Tournament.

Jaxson Gould scored 33 points in the two games, to go with 19 rebounds and three steals. Nehemiah Wright had five points and four boards in the Ben Franklin game and Jason Williams added nine boards and five points in the win over Chesterton.

LAKEVIEW 7TH GRADE 2-0 AT VALPO TOURNEY

Lakeview’s seventh grade team started out hot, beating Valpo 37-35 and Chesterton 28-25 to win the Valpo tourney.

Layton Isbell scored 20 points in the two games, Isaiah Lara had 19 points in the two games with seven assists in the Valpo win, and Julian Saldivar had 12 points in the Valpo win.
