MILFORD — A Milford man was arrested when police say another man caught him trying to break in the back door of a home in Kosciusko County.
Andrew Tyler Corn, 22, 208 S. James St., Milford, is charged with attempted residential entry, a level 6 felony. He was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on $5,750 surety and cash bond.
According to the Milford Police Department, officers were called to a residence and talked to the occupant, who told police he heard a knock at his back door. He said when he went to the door, he found Corn, who he knew but told police he was not friends with, using a screwdriver to attempt to pry open the back door.
The man told police he asked Corn what he was doing, but said that Corn acted confused and left. Officers reported investigating the door and found pry marks on the door and door jam. Corn was also booked on the same charge in August.
