BLACKPOOL, ENGLAND — Police in England posted a surveillance photo on Facebook of a suspect with an uncanny resemblance to “Friends” star David Schwimmer.

The photo shows a man buying beer at a store in Blackpool.

He’s a suspect in the theft of a coat, wallet and cell phone from another store last month.

Blackpool police say they received tens of thousands of comments on the posting, including some leads that they are investigating.

And they said they confirmed that David Schwimmer was in the U.S. on that day, so it’s definitely not him.

Comments on the police Facebook page included a lot of “Friends”-related humor. One comment echoed the show’s theme song, saying, “I don’t think it’s been this guy’s day, his week, his month or even his year.”
