WARSAW — Despite the fall chill in the air, families bundled up for the Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department’s Fall Family Fun event at Lucerne Park, 800 N. Park Ave., on Friday, Oct. 19.

Adults and kids alike enjoyed fall activities during the event. Attendees were able to go on a hay ride, listen to a story teller, complete crafts, roast marshmallows, watch pumpkin carving, and go through a straw maze.

The event not only focused on family fun, but education as well. Adults and kids got to enjoy a live bat and educational display hosted by Daniel Peterson, a bat educator. Attendees also got to pet a skunk.
