Steven Ray Price, 71, passed away at 12:25 a.m, Thursday, Sept. 27, 2018, at his home in San Diego, Calif.

He was born on April 24, 1947, in Ligonier, to Virgil Price and Bertie Thunander. He married Elsa Raguine on March 5, 1976.

He joined the US Navy as Avionic Technician and served from 1969 –1978. From 1978- 1997 he served in the Naval Reserves. He served in that division for 19 years and retired as Chief Petty Officer. He also worked as an Electronic Technician, a Computer Programmer, and in Security.

Steve Price is survived by his wife, Elsa Price; a son, Nelson; a daughter-in-law, Arlene; and two grandchildren, Kristofer and Kaycee.

Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 20, at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South; Ligonier, IN 46767.

A funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday, at Yeager Funeral Home. Rev. Randy Miller will officiate. Burial will take place at Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego, Calif.
