KOSCIUSKO — Jeffrey Brewer, Kendallville, is now in police custody after he was identified as the suspect in the Pierceton bank robbery on Oct. 6.

Warsaw Police Department received a tip at 4:30 a.m. this morning, Oct. 9, that Brewer was occupying a room at the Holiday Inn Express in Warsaw. Police arrived and were able to talk Brewer into turning himself in.

Brewer was taken into custody without any issues and has been booked at the Kosciusko County Jail and charged with robbery, a level 5 felony.

The apprehension was conducted with joint police efforts from the Warsaw Police Department, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office and the Pierceton Police Department.
