KOSCIUSKO — Pets of the Week are available at the Animal Welfare League, 3489 E. CR 100S, Pierceton.
Helen
Helen is a two-year-old, spayed, female Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix. She is white with large brown patches and weighs 56 pounds. Helen is also a very brave girl. When she arrived at the AWL her eyes were puffy and swollen. She had trouble seeing because of it. After a trip to the vet it was discovered that her eyelids were too long and rolling inward. Not only was this very uncomfortable, if not treated her eyes could be permanently damaged. Thankfully Helen was able to have corrective surgery.
Throughout her ordeal Helen remained a total sweetheart. Greeting the staff with a cheerful bark and a wag of her tail. Helen loves attention and cuddles. Now that she has recovered she is thriving and ready to find her “furever” home. Come and meet Helen today.
Helen’s adoption fee is $130.
