Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
1:10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, South SR 25, south of South CR 600W, Mentone. Driver: Kalaya M. Williams, 18, East Levi Lee road 119, Warsaw. Williams was traveling east on SR 25 when her vehicle left the roadway, striking a state highway sign and a Nipsco utility pole. Damage up to $5,000.
8:20 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, West CR 1350N, east of North CR 600W, Nappanee. Drivers: Silvestre Trujillo, 51, South James Street, Milford; and Cynthia J. Beehler, 53, North Nappanee Street, Nappanee. Trujillo was traveling east on CR 1350N when he entered Beehler’s lane of travel. The driver’s side mirror of Trujillo’s vehicle collided with Beehler’s driver’s side mirror, then collided with the driver’s side tire on his trailer, causing a tire to break off from its spindle. Two passengers in Trujillo’s vehicle, Silvestre Trujillo, Jr., 14, Milford; and Day Avara, 10, Milford, complained of head pain. Both were transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Damage up to $5,000.
North Webster
Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:
12:58 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, 624 N. Main St., North Webster. Driver: Lori A. Kleinhen, 58, North Main Street, North Webster. Kleinhen was backing her vehicle when she struck a parked, unoccupied vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
