Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:

9:29 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, 8300 block of South SR 19, Akron. A representative of Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation reported a student vaping on school property.
6:06 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, 4900 block of North SR 13, Leesburg. An employee of Lassus reported the theft of female sunglasses. Value: $16.99.

Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following incident:

2:10 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, 100 block of South Main Street, North Webster. Police responded to the Ellesha Hughes residence to investigate the theft of a purse. Value: $100.
