Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
8:53 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, East CR 700N, west of North CR 200E, Leesburg. Driver: Shane A. Timmons, 31, North Harrison Street, Syracuse. Timmons told police he was driving his vehicle eastbound on CR 700N when his vehicle left the roadway and got into a steep ditch. The vehicle turned over on its side. Timmons complained of pain and was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Damage up to $25,000.
2:52 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, North East Wawasee Drive and East CR 1250N, Syracuse. Drivers: Matthew R. Moran, 57, Lochner Road, Spencerville; Linda R. Torres, 30, East Excalibur Place, Cromwell. Witnesses at the scene stated that Moran, riding a motorcycle, pulled into the path of Torres’ vehicle and that Torres attempted to avoid a collision but was unable to avoid striking Moran. Moran was transported to a Fort Wayne hospital with injuries sustained in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
9:45 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, Anchorage Road, north of SR 15, Warsaw. Drivers: Premanandh P. Selvam, 35, Briar Ridge Circle, Warsaw; Bryan A. Encisco, 17, North CR 175E, Warsaw. Selvam told police he was driving his vehicle northbound on SR 15 and reported that the light at the Anchorage Road intersection turned yellow. He said he proceeded through the intersection and that his vehicle was struck by Encisco’s vehicle. Encisco told police he had a green turn arrow to turn east and made the turn when the collision occurred. Damage up to $10,000.
