Evelyn Livina (Hagenbush) Tracy, 86, Argos, died at 2:07 a.m., Sept. 26, 2018, at Franciscan Health Rensselaer, Rensselaer. She had been in the Rensselaer Care Center since June and had been in declining health.

On Sept. 26, 1932, in Argos, she was born to Ivo I. Hagenbush and Mable L. (Kindig) Hagenbush and had lived all of her life in the Argos community.

On July 23, 1963 in Michigan she married Roy Tracy.

Mrs. Tracy had worked for Kingsbury Ordinance Plant; Wagoner Industries for 12 years; and Speedway for 15 years.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post #68, Argos, for 50 plus years; and a former member of the Women of the Moose. She loved traveling county roads, bowling, and working in her yard. She was a graduate of Argos High School with the class of 1950.

Evelyn Travcy is survived by her daughters: Lynn Putt and husband Bob, Rensselaer; Connie Moore and husband Bob of Rensselaer; Marsha Shearer and husband Jack of Valparaiso; and Karen Morrill and husband Mike of Rensselaer; 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sons: Roy Tracy Jr. and Michael Tracy; brothers: Robert Hagenbush, Ivo (Doug) Hagenbush, Wilber Hagenbush, Charles “Red” Richard Hagenbush, and Donald Hagenbush

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday Sept. 29, at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, with Rev. Robert E. Rice Jr. of the Walnut Church of the Brethren. Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos.
