KOSCIUSKO — Sheriff Rocky Goshert would like to recognize two deputies that were awarded the Indiana Sheriff’s Association Life Saving Award during the association’s summer conference.

Kyle M. Cooper and Daisha M. Dove both took measures to save the life of an inmate attempting to commit suicide in the Kosciusko County Jail. The inmate attempted to hang himself while being held in the jail, and the quick reaction and teamwork of the two officers were instrumental in saving the man’s life.
