INDIANA DISTRICT 22 REPRESENTATIVE CURTIS NISLY

ELKHART/KOSCIUSKO COUNTIES — Incumbent State Rep. Curt Nisly, a Republican from Milford, did not draw an opponent for the November election. Barring something unforeseen, Nisly will return to Indianapolis as the District 22 state representative, which encompasses parts of Elkhart and Kosciusko counties, including all of Milford and most addresses in Syracuse and North Webster.

First elected to the Indiana General Assembly in 2014, Nisly defeated incumbent and fellow Republican Rebecca Kubacki in the primary and Democrat David Kolbe and independent candidate Michael Stinfer in the general election. He was reelected in 2016 and won a hard-fought battle over Kimberly Cates in May’s Republican primary election.

Nisly and his wife, Mary, moved to Kosciusko County from Goshen earlier this year. Mary formerly served as the chairperson for the Elkhart County Republican Party. They have been married for more than two decades and have four children.

Nisly is the owner of C-Tech Solutions Inc., a small business specializing in sheet metal product development and data-driven applications. He has extensive experience in the grain handling and dust collection industries.
