TVMS, TVHS Receive Grant For ‘Your Life Speaks’ Assembly

AKRON — The guidance offices for Tippecanoe Valley Middle School and Tippecanoe Valley High School each received a grant from the Northern Indiana Community Foundation, based in Fulton County, to host an inspirational speaker assembly in October. The Community Support Grant in the amount of $1,200 was presented to the schools on Wednesday, Sept, 19.

Nathan Harmon from the lecture series Your Life Speaks will share with more than 1,000 students and staff about topics such as peer pressure, bullying, overcoming adversity and the power of every choice. He shares from his own personal experiences that reaches students of all ages.

Harmon was the number one booked school speaker in the country last year, speaking to more than 135 schools across the nation.
