WINONA LAKE – Liz Van Wormer of Grace’s women’s soccer team was honored as the Offensive Player of the Week by both the NCCAA and the Crossroads League.

Van Wormer, Warsaw Community High School’s all-time leading scorer, was nearly unstoppable last week. She racked up 6 goals and one assist in three matches.

She scored at least one goal in every match. Against Cincinnati Christian she recorded a hat trick, and she added two goals and an assist against Lincoln Christian.

Van Wormer currently leads Grace in goals (six) and points (13). The Lady Lancers are on the road Wednesday, playing at Georgetown at 7 p.m.
