Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

8:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14, SR 25, south of West CR 250S, Warsaw. Driver: Janet L. Blair, 67, East CR 500N, Leesburg. Blair advised she was traveling eastbound in her vehicle when a deer entered the roadway. Blair swerved to miss the deer, striking a sign. Damage up to $2,500. 

Syracuse

Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:

4:50 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, South Huntington Street, south of East Pickwick Drive, Syracuse. Drivers: Leslie R. Shirey, 95, Eli Lilly Road, Syracuse; and Johnny A. Eppert, 30, North CR 750W, Larwill. Eppert advised he was traveling south on Huntington Street when Shirey’s vehicle pulled out in front of him, resulting in a collision. Damage up to $10,000. 

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

12:23 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, East Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Kyle O. Shuler, 21, East CR 200N, Warsaw; and Brent A. Mock, 35, Miner Drive, Warsaw. Shuler advised he was backing his vehicle out of a parking space at Jimmy John’s when his vehicle struck Mock’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000. 

6:31 a.m. Monday, Sept. 17, SR 15, north of Market Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Jamie M. Brainard,  44, South Scott Street, Warsaw; and Shanna L. France, 44, EMS C24E Lane, Warsaw. The vehicles collided at the intersection. Damage up to $5,000.
