Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:

  • 11:53 a.m. Monday, Sept. 3, 100 block West Wayne St., Pierceton. Officers responded to a report of theft of a firearm from a vehicle.
  • 11:18 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, 8300 block East CR 500N, Leesburg. Melody A. Ewald reported criminal mischief to a mailbox.
  • 12:46 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, 1300 block North Hartzler St., Warsaw. Seth L. Cummins reported criminal mischief to a vehicle.
  • 10:16 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, 3900 block North CR 700W, Warsaw. Officers responded to a report of an individual injured by a dog while she was running.
  • 11:52 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31, 900 block North CR 225E and East CR 100N, Warsaw. Kosciusko REMC reported a property damage accident where a vehicle struck a utility pole and drove away.
  • 1:04 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31, 100 block North Monroe St., Sidney. Officers responded to a report of a suspect causing hate and discontent in the neighborhood.
  • 12:22 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31, 9300 block South SR 15, Silver Lake. McClure Oil reported theft. A white sedan drove off without paying for fuel. Value: $28.49.

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:

  • 2:25 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3, 2400 block East Fort Wayne St. and North Parker Street, Warsaw. Abigail L. Strausbaugh reported a hit and run vehicle accident.
  • 8:25 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, 100 block East Canal St., Warsaw. Officers responded to a possible drowning at the Center Lake pier.
  • 7:21 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, 900 block North Detroit St., Warsaw. Officers responded to a report of strangulation.
  • 6:17 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, 200 block West Jefferson St., Warsaw. Officers responded to a report of public intoxication. The individual alarmed subjects with yelling and threats.
  • 2:24 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, 200 block North Roosevelt St., Warsaw. Christopher E. Baldridge reported auto theft. Value: $3,000.
  • 5:22 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, 400 block West Perry St., Warsaw. Officers responded to a report of public intoxication.
  • 7:32 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, 2500 block Walton Blvd., Warsaw. Carol L. Martin reported damage done to her vehicle.
  • 6:33 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, 2500 block Walton Blvd., Warsaw. WalMart reported theft. Value: $15.16.
  • 3:44 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, 500 block Ross Ave., Warsaw. Betty A. Taylor reported burglary. Items stolen include a Kay brand necklace, an iPad, and a Samsung tablet. Value: $305.
  • 5:13 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, 2500 block Walton Blvd., Warsaw. WalMart reported theft. Items stolen include clothing, a Bluetooth headset, and RCA converter box. Value: $237.63.

 

Winona Lake

Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following incident:

  • 6:17 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3, 100 block Kings Highway, Winona Lake. Officers responded to a report of harassment.
