SOUTH BEND CLAY 3, TIPPECANOE VALLEY 1
PLYMOUTH 10, TIPPECANOE VALLEY 0
A good start went south quickly at the annual Blueberry Festival tournament hosted by Plymouth.
Valley got on the board against Clay with a goal, but a pair of Colonial strikes before the intermission shifted momentum. Clay tacked on insurance in the second half.
In game two, Plymouth commanded from the opening whistle, scoring six goals in the first half and never allowing Valley any breathing room.
Valley (0-7) will entertain North Miami Tuesday in Three Rivers Conference play.
HUNTINGTON NORTH 3, WAWASEE 1
Wawasee lost its sixth straight match in Huntington.
The Vikings notched a pair of first-half goals, only for Wawasee to pull one back when Ethan Carey found the back of the net. The goal was assisted by Chris Strombeck in the 57th minute. Huntington would put some distance by getting the two-goal advantage back eight minutes later to cap the scoring.
Wawasee outshot Huntington 10-9, with Evan Dippon making five saves in net.
Wawasee (2-6) hosts NorthWood Tuesday afternoon.
