Edward “Eddie” Chupp, 82, Nappanee, died at 3:10 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018, at his residence.

He was born June 30, 1936, in Nappanee to John C. and Susan (Yoder) Chupp. On May 19, 1960, he married Alta Otto.

Mr. Chupp was a lifetime area resident. He was a factory worker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

He is survived by his wife, Alta Chupp; sister-in-law, Mary Chupp, Bremen.

He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Jay Chupp; brothers, Floyd, Monass, and William Chupp; sisters, Kate Borkholder, Barbara Mullet, Fannie Miller, Lydia Mae Hochstetler, Mary Schwartz, Edna Schwartz, and Elizabeth Chupp.

Family and friends may call after 2 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 29, and all day Thursday, Aug. 30, at the Dannie Borkholder residence, 30869 C.R. 146, Nappanee. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m., Friday, Aug. 31, also at the Dannie Borkholder residence. Home Ministry of the Old Order Amish Church will officiate and burial will be in Borkholder Cemetery.
