Theran McKeever provided the assistance on three goals to lead Lakeland Christian Academy to a road win Tuesday night.

McKeever assisted on goals to Parker Stewart and two to Micah Mansfield as LCA enjoyed a 3-0 lead at the break. Trenton Parker provided a little insurance with his second-half goal, unassisted just three minutes into the back 40.

Tristan Lewis had the lone goal for Winamac (2-4) in the final 120 seconds.

LCA dominated possession in the match and held a 22-4 shots advantage on the Warriors.

Remington Swanson made three saves for the win in between the pipes while Carter Hettinger was forced into 18 stops for Winamac.

“We weren’t at our best tonight, but we were able to do enough in the first half to put Winamac away,” said LCA head coach Dan Miller. “I’d like to see us play with more consistency. Micah Mansfield finished well tonight, and Parker Stewart controlled the midfield. We need to be sharper against Argos on Thursday night in order to win.”

LCA (5-1) will take on Argos in a key contest in the Northern Indiana Soccer League standings.
