WARSAW — The following adult and teen programs are set to take place in September at the Warsaw Community Public Library.
Friends of the Library meets at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4.
Drop in Zone, featuring video games, virtual reality and snacks, Wednesday, Sept. 5. Teens in grades 6- 12 play 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and adults play 5:45 to 7:45 p.m.
Chess Club meets from 10 a.m. to noon every Saturday. Chess players of all experience levels are welcome.
The Lake City Piecemakers quilt club meets at 9:15 a.m. Friday, Sept. 10. Participants of all experience levels learn to make a new quilt block each month.
Cookbook Club meets at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10. This month’s topic is new recipes. Attendees are invited to try and present a new recipe.
Susie Schaetzle will lead participants in creating a bird painting at Creative Canvas held 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10. Registration is required.
Writers Club meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10. Write a sci-fi retelling, about new beginnings or about your job.
Need technology advice? Computer Clinic meets 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, and 4 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept 26. Bring your tablet, laptop, smartphone or any other technology for assistance.
Pokémon Club meets at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12. Play the Pokémon trading card game with fellow enthusiasts and bring cards to display or trade.
Celebrate Harry Potter’s 20th anniversary from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15. Join us for movies, games, crafts and a library-wide Fantastic Beasts hunt.
Create your own superhero Comic Coaster at Make It Take It Crafts at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17. Registration is required.
Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to play Minecraft at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18.
At Yarn Club, 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, learn to knit or crochet and share patterns and advice.
Play Bingo at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19. Free and fun for the whole family.
Registered Nutritionist/Dietitian, Sue Delagrange presents “What the World Eats” at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24. Delagrange will look at the top 5 healthiest countries to see what they eat. Registration required.
Faith Ketterer will lead her next card making class at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24. Registration required.
Make an adorable sheep at Needle Felting with Rachel Kruger at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24. Registration required.
