KOSCIUSKO — At approximately 6:45 a.m. today, Aug. 24, Kosciusko County 911 received a report of a personal injury accident at the intersection of CR 400E and CR 600S, Warsaw. 

When Kosciusko County Emergency Personnel arrived they located a White Chevrolet Utility Truck and a maroon Ford F-250 on the north-west corner of the intersection. The White Utility Truck was driven by Christopher Dutkiewicz, 27, Ohio. Dutkiewicz was transported from the scene to the Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne for treatment. The maroon Ford was driven by Trenton Wuchter, 29, Warsaw. Wuchter was treated at the scene by Lutheran EMS.

Initial investigation shows that the maroon Ford Pickup was northbound on CR 400E, approaching CR 600S.  The white Chevrolet was westbound on CR 600S. The white truck pulled into the intersection in the path of the maroon truck. The maroon truck was unable to avoid a collision with the white truck and struck the white truck in the driver’s side door.

The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by Lutheran EMS, Pierceton Fire and Sidney Fire.
