Wawasee started off on the right foot, but couldn’t keep up in a loss on its home turf at Warrior Field.

Jenny Camarena notched the first goal of the game, putting Wawasee up 1-0 in the fourth minute.

The Lady Bruins, however, got two goals back in the 25th and 25th minutes, and posted a pair in the final 15 minutes of the match to close it out.

Graceanne Kerlin made seven saves in the losing effort for the Lady Warriors.

Wawasee (1-3-1) will look to open the Northern Lakes Conference on the right now with a home date Saturday against Concord.
