Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

8:24 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, West Side Drive, Warsaw. The owner of a parked vehicle came out to go to work and noticed that her vehicle had been hit sometime during the night while parked in her driveway. The driver’s side doors, both front and rear, were damaged. Damage up to $2,500. 

Milford

Officers with the Milford Police Department investigated the following accident:

12:10 pm. Wednesday, Aug. 22, Higbee Street, Milford. Driver: Gaynol L. VonBlon, 76, East Catherine Street, Milford. VonBlon was backing her vehicle up and did not see a parked, unoccupied vehicle. VonBlon’s vehicle struck the parked vehicle. Damage up to $5,000. 

Winona Lake

Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:

5:27 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, Park Avenue and 12th Street, Winona Lake. Drivers: Matthew A. Schmidt, 23, 13th Street, Winona Lake; and Austin L. Bailey, 22, West Market Street, Pierceton. Schmidt’s vehicle was traveling south and attempted to make a left turn, failing to yield the right of way to Bailey’s vehicle, which was traveling northbound. Damage up to $2,500.
