Veronica I. Keppler-Wineland — UPDATED

Veronica I. “Vicky” Keppler-Wineland, 65, Pierceton, passed away at 6:45 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018, at her home. She was born on Sept. 8, 1952, in Columbia City to Douglas and Mary Lou (Brower) Keppler.

She graduated from Central Noble High School, attended Indiana University in South Bend, and was married on May 25, 1991, in Syracuse to Gary R. “Dick” Wineland, who survives. She was formerly a buyer for Renegade RV in Bristol for many years and had lived in Middlebury, Syracuse and wintered in Palmetto, Fla. for many years before moving to Pierceton one year ago.

She is survived by her husband, Dick Wineland, Pierceton; a daughter: Jody (Keith) Reckard, Huntington; Angela (Jose) Aparicio, Mexico City, Mexico; four grandsons; three brothers: John Keppler, Churubusco; Mark Keppler, Alabama; Steve Keppler, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ron Keppler.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. No public services will be held at this time. Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and CR 500N, North Webster, is in charge of arrangements.
