KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Candidates interested in filing for seat on area school boards have just a few days to file candidacies with the Kosciusko County Clerk. The deadline for filing is noon Friday, Aug. 24.

Tippecanoe Valley, Triton, Wa-Nee, Wawasee, Warsaw and Whitko school corporations all have seats up for election in the general primary Nov. 6.

Candidates Who Have Filed

Candidates filing for any of the school district seats must reside in the district he/she is filing. Those candidates who have already filed his/her candidacy are listed below.

District 3 — Franklin Township (Kosciusko County) — Lacey Wise

District 4 — Henry Township (Fulton County) — Thomas J. (Tom) Bauters

Candidate filings for the three seats up for election in Wa-Nee Community Schools are in township districts in Elkhart County.
