Annual Warsaw Family Carnival Provides Fun For All

Children participated in Penguin Point’s 38th annual Big Wheel Race.

WARSAW — The Warsaw Parks Department hosted their annual Family Carnival tonight, Aug. 3, at Central Park. Families flocked to the park and enjoyed a variety of entertainment.

This years event included inflatables, games, face painting, a dunk tank and even a hypnotist show.

Penguin Point held their 38th annual Big Wheel Race. Children were separated into age groups and raced big wheel tricycles. Trophies and bikes were gifted to the big winners.

In the four and five-year-old age group Madden Head won first place and Jaxton Phillips won second place. In the six and seven-year-old age group Cannon Swinehart won first place and Isaiah Schmerber won second place.

The event was sponsored by Penguin Point, Kosciusko County Community Foundation, NIPSCO, Kosciusko Community Hospital and Danco Anodizing.
