Michael Dean “Mike” Boren, 57, of Leesburg, passed away on Wednesday, Aug.1, 2018 at his home. He was born on June 13, 1961 in Little Rock, Ariz. to Wayne L. and Sally Ellen (White) Boren.

He attended South Western High School in West Lafayette and was a United States Army veteran. He moved to the Warsaw/North Webster area in 1997 from West Lafayette. He was a local welder for many years.

He is a member of the American Legion Post 253 in North Webster.

He is survived by his mother Sally DeVon, Warsaw; two sisters Sharon (Bill King) Boren & Debbie (Ken Kirkpatrick) Colley both of North Webster; brother Kenneth Boren, South Bend; and half-sister Gail (Jack) Goodyear Millan, Farmer, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN. Visitation will be from 2 – 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 4, at Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and CR 500N, North Webster. Memorial services will follow at 3 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home.
