WARSAW – Signups are now open for the first running of the Tiger Invite 5K cross country run.

The event, sponsored by the Edgewood Middle School Parents as Partners in Education, will take place Saturday, Sept. 8, at the Warsaw Community High School cross country course on Logan St. The race begins at 8 a.m. rain or shine, and runners are invited to stay and cheer on the middle school competitors as the middle school invite takes place, hosting athletes from all over northern Indiana.

Entry fee is $25 and will benefit the students and staff of Edgewood Middle School through classroom grants, teacher allotments, Christmas food baskets, the nurse’s fund and other worthwhile endeavors. Signups can be done online at at https://runsignup.com/Race/IN/Warsaw/TigerInvite5KCrossCountryRun and entry by Aug. 24 guarantees a T-shirt provided by the Edgewood STEM Department.
