Claudia Marie Wrobel, 71, Winona Lake, passed away at 8:50 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Kosciusko Community Hospital of Warsaw.

She was born on Feb. 16, 1947, in Warsaw, to Alexander Landa and Winifred “Winnie” Marie (King) Landa. She was married in October 1981 to Douglas William Wrobel, who survives.

She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, where she was a 1965 graduate of Warsaw High School. After graduation she attended Beauty College in Fort Wayne. For a number of years she worked at Crownover Jewelry in Warsaw and was also a great animal lover.  Claudia was a very friendly person, a loving wife, mother, and grandmothe and will be dearly missed by all.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 36 years, Douglas “Doug” Wrobel, Winona Lake; four sons:  David Creighton, Atlanta, Ga.; Brandon (Rachelle) Creighton, Warsaw; Kevin (Michelle) Wrobel, Lithia, Fla.; Erich Wrobel, Colorado; and two daughters: Tara Creighton, Winona Lake; Kerri (Chris) Wilson, Winona Lake. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren:  Shelly, Brady, and Landon Creighton; Tristan, Preston, and Reagan Wilson; Jonathan and Thomas Wrobel.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 1, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.

Her funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 1, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home and officiated by Pastor Jeff Pfeifer.  Burial will follow with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
